Three youngsters had been killed when a dashing fuel tanker collided with their bike on Nationwide Freeway-26 close to Pasticudi, under Bhawanipatna within the Kalahandi district, on Sunday night.
The lifeless are from the close by village of Rakabahali.
In line with experiences, the three pals had been returning house by bike when the truck crushed their car after taking part in a cricket match in close by Utkela.
Tensions rose within the area after the tragic incident. Native residents blockaded the highway, demanding enough compensation for the households of the deceased. In addition they demanded strict motion towards the truck driver.
Because of the blockade, tons of of automobiles had been stranded on either side of the highway. Bhawanipatna police, who arrived on the scene, try to calm the general public.
It was reported that the police seized the car, however the driver escaped. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
