Prashad restaurant hits TV screens on Hairy Bikers TV show tonight
The crew of Prashad restaurant shall be on TV screens this night as a part of Bushy Bikers’ new TV present.
Dave Myers and Si King filmed on the vegetarian Indian restaurant in Drighlington as a part of their new BBC Two Go Native collection.
The duo visits Bikers’ picks for every area’s finest restaurant and seeks progressive native suppliers.
Run by husband and spouse crew Bobby and Minal Patel, the restaurant began 30 years in the past in Bradford.
Sharing on social media in regards to the new episode, which shall be broadcast on January 11 at 20.00, the restaurant stated, “That evening is tonight! It was a pleasure having The Bushy Bikers Dave and Si in Prashad kitchen and getting ready our tasting menu for Minal and the crew to take pleasure in.”
Within the episode itself, Bushy Cyclists supply mushrooms, rhubarb, and beets for Prashad to make garlic mushroom pakoras, beet-stuffed paratha and rhubarb, rose and cardamom kulfi.
“We were very excited to be chosen to represent Yorkshire,” said Bobby, who co-owns Prashad with his wife, Prashad chief executive Minal.
“To have the ability to share our Gujarati meals with individuals is a big present and it is a testomony to the exhausting work of Minal and her crew to be acknowledged once more by two cooks we really admire.”
